Live Caricatures are a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. From kids birthdays to retirement parties, everyone loves the fun and flattering classy caricatures of Caricatures by Jason.

Jason works in a range of styles, tailoring each image to the person or group of people he’s drawing. Even people who hate the thought of being caricatured, love being drawn by Jason.


How much does it cost?

Live caricatures cost $95 per hour, with a two-hour minimum.

There is no travel fee for the Phoenix Metro area. Travel to Tucson is an added fee of $80, travel to Prescott is $80, travel to Flagstaff is $85.

Preprinted black and white cardstock with text and client-supplied art or logos starts at an additional $20.

Preprinted black and white cardstock with text and custom artwork for the event is an additional $35-$75, depending on the complexity of the art required.

For color cardstock add an additional $10

These fees are based on enough cardstock for a two- or three-hour event.

 

How many caricatures will be drawn?

The number of caricatures drawn at an event depends on the complexity of the caricatures being drawn.

  Black and White heads 18-22 people per hour
  Black, White and Gray heads (Jason’s specialty) 16-20 people per hour
  B/W and Gray heads and shoulders with themes 14-18 per hour
  B/W and Gray full bodies and themes 12-16 people per hour
  Color heads 12-14 people per hour
  Color heads and shoulders with themes 10-13 people per hour
  Color full bodies 8-10 people per hour

 

What if that’s not fast enough?

We work with a number of other caricature artists in the valley. Multiple-artist events are a great way to handle big crowds.

 

What’s Pre-printed Cardstock?

Often a client will want the name and date of the event printed on each drawing, along with some themed artwork. This can be as simple as a name and date and a simple graphic tied to the event’s theme, or as intricate as a complicated scene with pre-printed bodies just waiting for the guests heads to be drawn.

Corporate Clients may want to include the company logo to the cardstock.

Standard cardstock (whether preprinted or not) is 11x14 inches. This is a standard size for picture frames, and makes it easy for the guests who want to frame their momentos.
